As part of our week at Iona cottage we decided to take a trip to the local Haweswater reservoir. Parking at the Mardale Head Car Park by Haweswater Reservoir we had a little walk with Ruby. No OS map route since we just followed a couple of tracks around the reservoir for a short distance.

On the drive back to the cottage we stopped off at the Haweswater Hotel for some food.
A lovely place, definitely one for future Tiggy Tours and a proper hike.
