This route starts in Keld, parking here and follows an anticlockwise loop on well used paths and roads. Taking in East Gill Force at East Stoneside, Kisdon Force, Currack Force and Wain Wath Force.
Leave Keld and head in a southeast direction following a path to Birk Hill and the first waterfall on the list, Kisdon Force.
There is another path nearby which takes you to the top of the Force where things are a lot calmer.
Looking down from the top of Kisdon Force.
Head back the way you came for a short distance and take a path to the right, crossing the river over this footbridge.
There are some well established paths between the waterfalls.
Just east of the footbridge, after you’ve crossed it, the second waterfall, East Gill Force.
Then heading northwest, parallel to the river with some great views that don’t involve water.
And a slightly sketchy bridge.
The third waterfall, Currack Force.
After Currack Force it was a short footpath to the road, crossing the Park Bridge roadbridge for a nice view up the river.
From now on its a case of following the B6270, a very quiet country road. Turn right after the bridge and follow the road west to the fourth and final waterfall, Wain Wath Force.
After taking in the final waterfall, head back down the B6270 for a short distance east to Keld, and the carpark.
