One of the first trips out in Tiggy for Ivy the Westiepoo, parking in Middleham market square
here and walking to the castle with a short walk further around the area.
Ivy (aka Dora the Explorer) loved exploring everywhere! Here she is posing…
…heading into dark doorways…
…disappearing around corners…
…standing on monuments…
…and running up strangers garden paths.
The home of Richard III. Famous for having a hunchback, the disappearance of his young nephews and ending up buried in a carpark for over 500 years.
A couple more pics of the castle ruins.
After visiting the castle we had a little walk around the countryside of Middleham. Heading south down Canaan Lane and a footpath through a field for this great view of the castle.
On the way home a quick stop off at Wensley to visit the White Rose Candle Shop and right next door to the Wensley Waterfall.
