Cauldron falls

A road trip to Cauldron Falls with a little loop back to West Burton.

A nice little roadtrip to West Burton in Wensleydale with a waterfall, picnic and a short loop back to Tiggy.

This is the short loop we did, you park right by the waterfall here than after admiring the falls, head over a footbridge and uphill through fields. Then back across the beck at another footbridge and onto the country road that leads back to West Burton.

Right by the parking spot, by the stone bridge, is some info on the waterfall.

We left Tiggy by the bridge, just a short distance from the waterfall.

Next to the parking spots is this bridge, we’ll be crossing this later as part of our walk.

Then we crossed the bridge and had a quick look back at Tiggy.

By the bridge is a small wooden gate, for the uphill footpath to a field for our picnic and these views.

I think Ruby enjoyed the picnic more than the views.

We then headed south through some fields, past some cows, until we crossed the back and headed back to the road. It’s then a right turn following the road north to West Burton and Tiggy.
