Tiggy is a Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, born in 2017 and purchased by me in 2018. Since then we’ve amassed over 40K miles, mostly through roadtrips to hiking spots, English Heritage castles or dog walks and all on days with decent weather.
Based in the North East of England most of the tours do happen in the North East. With a few adventures over to the Lake District, and some longer trips to the Peak District and even down to Cornwall. A regular annual trip to Wales as part of a works weekend away has led to many adventures in Wales too.
The idea of Tiggy Tours is to document where we’ve been and provide inspiration for others. Mostly hiking, where all the routes are circular to get back to Tiggy, with a few touristy trips thrown in too.
